The Bassmasons is a musical entity consisting of myself (komega), mzo (Devin Becker, an employee of Apple), and DJUndecided (Chris Shelton, ETrade). Each of us bring complementary skills to the group and we perform regularly as a 3-man DJ/producer act in local and west coast nightclubs. We broadcast a weekly internet show on http://breaks.fm, an award winning electronic music station. The three of us are developing a next generation stage show that incorporates almost all modern music technology including our custom controller (the livePAd). We have upcoming shows in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA and we have played several shows in SF. We also host a monthly event that showcases the Sacramento area’s best breakbeat acts. This project has been an exercise in marketing and helped me to revisit my graphic design skills (note the carefully designed logo, that was me).
